BT London Live 2012 - Hyde Park
A combination of multiple state-of-the-art screens and concert quality sound systems will show all of the London 2012 action. Plus sports participation activities, live music and cultural entertainment will be on offer every day until late evening so get involved!These spectacular events are a partnership between the Mayor of London, The Royal Parks and The London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
Free To Access days at Hyde Park 28th July - 11th August will offer the Olympic Games action live on giant screens, along with a fantastic array of other activities for the whole family to enjoy.
Check out BT House where there will be 2 performances a day on the BT Vision Stage and hopefully you’ll get a chance to meet our sporting medalists as they visit the park. You can also enjoy daily live music performances from artists such as Tom Jones, McFly, Amy Macdonald, Rebecca Ferguson, The Feeling, Alexandra Burke, Kenny Thomas and there are many more to be announced!
You’ll be able get involved at the Have-A-Go Sports Zone, have family fun at the Kids Zone and enjoy a trip through the Cadbury’s Joyville experience. It’s a great day or days out and it’s free to get in.
Opening and Closing Ceremony Celebration Concerts
Snow Patrol, Stereophonics, Duran Duran and Paolo Nutini perform for the BT London Live Opening Ceremony Celebration Concert in Hyde Park on 27 July. Tickets are on sale now priced at £60.00 plus booking fees, and are available here.
Blur are the headline act for the Closing Ceremony Celebration Concert on 12 August, a unique event marking the end of the London 2012 Olympic Games. Joining Blur on this 'Best of British' line up will be New Order and The Specials with Special Guests Bombay Bicycle Club.
