HIP Trip of Brighton - A Psychedelic Wander

Sell-out hit show HIP returns as an immersive journey through the streets of 1970’s Brighton.

10 May 2017 | Visit website

Head to the Brighton Fringe this spring and discover Jolie Booth's HIP Trip of Brighton - A Psychedelic Wander.

HIP explores the true story of Brightonian Anne Clarke, vividly bringing to life the city's counterculture history. The discovery of Anne's diaries and letters by squatter Jolie Booth in 2002 unearthed a huge archive about the city they've both lived in and experiences they've shared. Part theatrical experience, part walking tour, part pub crawl, part personal odyssey, HIP traces the life of a local hippie woman from the seventies around the streets of Brighton.

HIP Trip of Brighton - A Psychedelic Wander will take place throughout the Brighton Fringe on 5, 12, 19 & 16 May at 6pm or 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28 May at 3pm, starting at Brighton Clock Tower.
