Living Proust and the belle époque

Join performers and researchers for an immersive recreation of Proust’s classic novel ‘In Search of Lost Time’, part of the School of Advanced Study, University of London’s annual Living Literature event. Surrounded by the scents, fashions and music of the belle époque, sip cocktails and feast on food inspired by the novel. Enjoy a magic lantern show, learn about memory in our taste and scent experiments, listen to live music of the time and learn about Proust, identity and history in our series of interactive pop-up talks.
 
Living Proust and the belle époque will be performed at Senate House, University of London on Thursday 11 May between 6.30-10pm. Tickets are £40 standard and £20 concessions. Find out more and book tickets here.
