Sutton House Queered

Sutton House Queered

A year-long programme of challenging and celebratory LGBTQ events at the atmospheric Sutton House.

17 February 2017 - 17 February 2018 | Book tickets

This February, Sutton House launch their 5th year celebrating lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer (LGBTQ) histories.

Sutton House is a beautiful and atmospheric Tudor house. The oldest house in Hackney, it retains original features from over 500 years ago, giving visitors an immersive insight into a real Tudor home.

As part of the National Trust's 2017 Prejudice and Pride programme, Sutton House Queered is a year long programme of events and exhibitions aiming to disrupt, challenge and celebrate. The launch includes artworks from Sutton House's community groups and volunteers, and an exhibition exploring gender neutral toilets in the oldest toilet in Hackney.

Sutton House Queered launches for the 5th year in February 2017 and will run for a year.
