Join gal-dem, an online magazine formed by 70 women of colour, as they collaborate with the V&A for another Friday late (that continues on to Saturday too)!

This time round, they'll be hosting events around Stratford including at the Stratford Circus Arts Centre, Stratford Picturehouse and Gerry's Kitchen and sharing their take on the world through the lens of film making.

Step into Hollywood’s iconic posters to challenge #OscarsSoWhite, perfect your Thumka and partake in a Bollywood dance off, see a queer performance by Travis Alabanza, join an activity focusing on women in comedy by Sorta Kinda Maybe Yeah and learn how to shoot a film on your mobile!

Friday Late: gal-dem will be held on 24 & 25 February 2017 at various locations across Stratford. Find out more here.
