Wigmore Hall’s Avex Recital Series 2017 with violinist Fumiaki Miura

The second lunchtime instalment of the Avex Recital Series 2017 at Wigmore Hall takes place on Saturday 17 June, with violinist Fumiaki Miura taking centre stage.

Since becoming the youngest ever winner of the 2009 Joseph Joachim Hannover International Violin Competition, Miura has established himself as an artist to watch, with Music Web International commenting that his ‘outstanding talent bodes well for his future career’.    
 
For his Wigmore Hall recital, he will be accompanied by pianist Itamar Golan in a programme featuring Dvořák, Stravinsky and Beethoven.  
 
The Avex Recital Series presents leading young Japanese artists to London audiences as part of Avex Classics International’s commitment to nurturing young talent by giving them the opportunity to perform at international venues.  
 
Fumiaki Miura performs at Wigmore Hall as part of the Avex Recital Series 2017 on Saturday 17 June, 1pm.
