VIDEO: Follow your art with Wimbledon Open Studios

11 April 2017

11-14 May is Wimbledon Open Studios. 4 days, 150+ artists, 8 floors of original, affordable art & free entry!

It’s a rare thing to be given the opportunity to enter the private working space of an artist.

When you combine this unique experience with the chance to be the first to see and buy contemporary, original works at a 4-day art fair; you know you’re in for an art-lovers feast.

The Open Studios, held from Thursday 11 to Sunday 14 May 2017 at Wimbledon Art Studios, is one of the only times the doors are flung open to the public. Step inside for an immersive experience of these paint splattered studios and meet over 150 artists and makers.

Explore 8 floors of contemporary paintings, prints, photography, illustration, sculpture, ceramics, textiles and furniture design. This is affordable art direct from the studios with 0% commission on everything, so a perfect opportunity to fill your empty walls.

Beyond the discovery of the art, other highlights of a visit include an official launch party on Thursday evening, talks and workshops, family activities and trails on Saturday and Sunday and time to simply sit back and refresh with a range of delicious food and drink.

The Wimbledon Open Studios is one of London’s only free entry art fairs. Pre-booking a free ticket at http://www.wimbledonopenstudios.com gives access to exclusive perks including: the opportunity to win £200 to spend at The Open Studios, a personal invite to the launch party, early access to an exclusive online sale of one-off artwork and behind-the-scenes news and info on the lead-up to the event (T&Cs apply, see website). Reasons aplenty to pre-book a ticket.
